A George III mahogany octagonal pedestal desk.  Each bank of drawers has a fitted pull-out writing slide above, with dummy drawers and faux pull-out slides on the canted corners.
Note: This highly unusual desk retains all the original brass swan-neck handles and has a later faded green leather insert from the 1950s.
