A fine and rare late 18th century Adam period ormolu mounted blue john Cleopatra candle vases, each having a fluted neck above an ovolo shaped blue john body mounted with cast swags supported on a leaf cast cradle above a spirally fluted base on a square socle with stamped Greek key decoration above a square plinth with ormolu sides mounted with medallions of Ceres to each side; on a stepped square pith base terminating in ball feet.
Note: The majority of Cleopatra vases by Boulton feature stone or glass panels behind the medallions of Ceres. Only few examples with entire ormolu bases exist
