The circular tilt-top banded in burr yew and fitted with two drawers, one concealing a chess and backgammon board; on an octagonal faceted column and four way stepped platform with concave sides issuing in splay legs with yew wood inlay and terminating in brass paw castors. Note: It is possibly a unique feature in a breakfast table to have drawers on opposing sides with a built-in chess and backgammon board.
