A GEORGE III SATINWOOD TEA CADDY A fine late 18th century silver mounted inlaid satinwood rectangular tea caddy of outstanding colour and patination having a hinged lid surmounted by an ornate silver swan-neck handle with pierced back plates and centred by an oval medallion engraved with the crest of a bird with outstretched wings above an engraved initial 'A', the interior fitted with twin removable satinwood and tin foil lined caddies either side of a later glass mixing bowl, the lid and sides decorated with snakewood banded compartments each centred by an oval amboyna panel.
