A GEORGE III MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD ATTRIBUTED TO GILLOWS

A superb late 18th century Hepplewhite period mahogany serpentine fronted sideboard of a rich faded colour having a shaped top above a central bow fronted long drawer with later oval brass handles and a shaped and fluted apron below with central leaf carving, flanked by two drawers fitted out as a cellaret, all with tulipwood cross-banding; on circular fluted tapering legs headed by stiff leaf carvings and terminating in spade feet.
