A fine late 18th century plum pudding mahogany and ormolu mounted bonheur du jour, the inverted shaped brass galleried upper section with a central section book shelf above two short drawers with turned brass handles flanked by two cupboard doors quarter-veneered in tulipwood and fitted with four small drawers to the right, the writing surface above a single frieze drawer with later drop ring handles enclosing a baize-lined writing slide, the whole raised on elegant square tapering legs terminating in later brass castors.
