Masterpiece London brought a new level of art fair to London and accentuated London’s position as a leader in the worldwide art and antiques market.
Driven by a philosophy that incorporated the best of the best from around the world and a deep respect for the highest quality exhibits as well as a commitment to being at the forefront of visionary stand design.
Acclaimed by Oprah Winfrey as an event with “an exciting and diverse range of quality and beautiful things” and characterized by Sir David Tang as being “at the premier end of all fairs.”
The solid foundation of respect for the authenticity of the exhibits paid homage and drew inspiration from art around the world across an assortment of disciplines; from the fine and decorative arts to important collectors’ pieces including rare maps, watches, jewellery, fine wines, important furniture and contemporary design were offered for sale.
The distinguished and discerning clientele were educated with complimentary and fascinating lectures from iconic members of the art world whilst a miniature Mayfair was almost created with the notorious and exclusive restaurants of Scott’s, Harry’s Bar and Mount Street Deli.
